Gluing the Neck into the Body

Once the neck was complete, I routed the front pickup cavity using a Stewmac.com humbucker template and a straight pattern bit on my router.

I clamped the neck into the body, and used masking tape to protect the wood surrounding the joint.

Using the same high tech glue pot, I got the glue hot and laid it on heavy.  Once the glue was in place, I clamped the neck in with two clamps.  I immediately cleaned-up the squeeze-out with a wet paper towel.
