Cutting out the Body and the Neck

I loaded up the body and neck blanks and headed for Viersen, Germany to Tommy's Guitar Shop.  Tommy let me use his bandsaw to cutout the blanks.  Be very, very careful here...you don't want to be known as Lefty after an accident!

A critical factor is to find center on the body blank, and use it as your reference during all parts of shaping.  I traced the body outline on the blank, but I made doubly sure that I didn't saw too close to the line.  If you go over the line you may not be able to salvage the job.
